A list of words appears for a few seconds — for example, "sea, lamp, wind, stone." Memorize them, then in the next screen find those words among distractors. The list grows by one word each round. Too many wrong answers and you lose a life.
What it trains
Words trains verbal short-term memory — the ability to hold a small set of unrelated words in mind. This is the same skill used when taking notes, learning vocabulary, or remembering a shopping list without writing it down. The game is available in 12 languages.
Tips to improve your score
Make a story. "The sea lit a lamp, the wind blew a stone." Narrative memory is stronger than list memory.
Group words by category — if you remember "sea, wind" together, you'll recall both faster.
Visualize each word as an image. The more absurd the image, the better it sticks.
